Big bang adventure race

The Big Bang Adventure Race is held annually between Horowhenua and Kapiti. Teams of 2 or 4 are given the course map 15 minutes prior to the start. The top secret course can take anywhere from 3.5 - 8 hours to complete, making it extremely demanding.

This was a tricky one for us to shoot as it covered a huge area, some of which was deep in the bush. Using our drones and hand held stabilised cameras to capture all the critical shots in ultra HD 4K for a stunning action video. Brent even used his trials motorbike to leap frog the competitors to each checkpoint allowing us to cover all aspects of the race efficiently. Check out for more info.

A massive shout out to the guys from City of Souls for the use of their killer track "Water" - on iTunes now!

Te araroa trust walkway

Te Araroa - New Zealand's Trail - is a continuous 3,000 km walking track from Cape Reinga to Bluff. We were asked to capture the Paekakariki - Pukerua Bay portion of this huge accomplishment. This meant walking the track a few times! No easy feat, but the views were worth it. The track is now open, so go and check it out.

A big thanks to Rhian Sheehan for the use of "Little Sines"
